Today...CONGRATS and special HAPPY BIRTHDAY salute to Henry Combs who turns 93 today...
spotty soft wave/wavelets developing for local soaring area with complex weather pattern as cold Canadian air mass pushes south thru PACNW
into northern Great Basin while some moisture undercutting strong eastern Pacific high bleeding into northern CA and Sierra...
Virginia pk......(elev 8299 ft ASL).....W 28 -34 mph...temp 35 F...
Slide mtn........(elev 9,694 ft ASL).....NW 18-28 mph...temp 36 F...RH 11%...
Mt Warren...(elev 12,327 ft ASL).....NW 22-26 mph...temp 25 F...RH 24%...
White mtn.....(elev 14,246 ft ASL).....missing
Barcroft RC..(elev 12,410 ft ASL).....WNW 9-16 mph...temp 25 F...RH 25%
Trend...COLDER ARCTIC air mass settling into Great Basin during weekend developing light snow and "unsettled weather"...
of course...(I'm dreamin of a White Christmas...with every Christmas card I write)...
Please note...NWS Reno folks just put the early November time lapse of ACSL lenticular wave cloud into their Soaring Info...GREAT JOB...
